Ex Kosovo police officer Fadilj Suljevic was found dead last week in the hills above Lake Badovac, and according to Gazeta Express, he is on the list of witnesses for the Special Prosecutor's Office in The Hague.
This was confirmed by the spokesman of the Kosovo police, Bajram Krasnići.
- Today, January 15, 2021, shortly after 14:00, the police were informed about the incident that happened on the road leading to Lake Badovac, with the suspicion that the person has no signs of life. The police immediately went to the scene, contacted the family members of that person and called the main prosecutor and emergency medical teams - said Krasnići.
According to him, investigative and forensic teams are inspecting the scene
At the scene, doctors determined that the victim's body was dead. The victim is: F.S, male. Investigative and forensic teams continue to monitor the site. We will inform you in time about the new information - Krasnići stated for "Gazeta Express", newspapers in Albanian.
The Chief Prosecutor of the Basic Prosecutor's Office of Priština, Kujtim Muniši, also spoke about this case.
- The prosecutor went to the scene to see what happened. Police are at the scene. He was found dead somewhere in the mountains - Muniši told.
Fadilj Suljević was born in Medveđa.
Suljevic is a former member of the so-called Kosovo Police, who was admitted to the police after 1999.

Suljevic was managed the ilegal camp in the village of Matičane, practically a suburb of Priština, where terrorists of the so-called "KLA" illegally imprisoned about 300 Serbs during the war. It was also the largest improvised prison in Kosovo and Metohija. Due to Suljevic's crime, the Serbian authorities sent the data to Interpol, in order to issue a warrant.
- According to previous experiences, we claim that witnesses who could say anything about the suffering of Serbs and the crimes of the so-called "KLA" terrorists will be liquidated. As for Suljevic, his zone of activity was around Pristina, and there were the Matičane, Sunčani Breg and Vranjevac camps (all on the outskirts of Priština) for which he was in charge - it was said to the journalists in the Association of the Kidnapped Serbs.
According to Gazeta, Suljevic was called by the Special Tribunal in The Hague as a witness.
